Between all the real weddings I get to capture, a styled wedding shoot is a perfect opportunity for me to work on something a little bit different. It gives me a chance to get my creative juices flowing, try new editing styles, and meet some other local wedding vendors. And even if it’s not a real wedding, I decided to share this styled shoot with you and maybe give you inspiration and ideas for your own wedding day.
For this one, Mirjana and Eva from Infinity Events organized a shoot inspired by “la dolce vita.” They brought together a talented team of wedding vendors to create a story that captured the spirit of 1950s Italian elegance, luxury, and pleasures of life. From the setting and wedding decor all the way to the couple’s outfits, every detail was meticulously crafted to create a classy and undeniably chic wedding story.
The shoot was captured at Škerlj Wine Estate in the charming village of Tomaj, settled in the heart of the Slovenian Karst. The estate’s winemaking heritage dates back to 1788 and its owners have been committed to the production of high-quality wines for generations. Today, this gorgeous winery is also a premium wedding venue that will leave you feeling as if you’ve been transported to Tuscany.
Captured by Miloš and Nataša Horvat, every element of the event told a story about the luxuries of “la dolce vita.” With lavish florals arranged by Aurelie Weddings & Events and carefully selected wedding decor by CARA creative co., the setting came together spectacularly. Karmen from Karmen Weddings was kind enough to take care of the wedding stationery, which tied in perfectly with the overall theme of the shoot. To top it all off, a simple yet chic wedding cake by Zala from Biškotin added a touch of elegance to the already beautiful setting.
Our bride Francesca stunned in an elegant white gown by Flair Wedding Atelier, complemented with vintage-inspired jewelry and shoes by Mod’Art. Her hair was done by Žiga from Mare dresura frizure, while Irina Giormani took care of her makeup. Denis, who acted as the groom, wore a classy grey suit supplied by Ena in edina poročni salon. Finally, Zlatarstvo Lavtižar were kind enough to provide their wedding rings.
Thanks again to Mirjana and Eva for inviting me and all the amazing suppliers who made this gorgeous shoot come true.
“Nik, thaaank you so much! The video is great and I’m in love with everything about it. The music, colors, scenes … just everything! Thank you for delivering it so fast and for creating this top-notch masterpiece.”
